Privacy Policy
What we collect
Your email address and a hashed password when you create an account; the content you type into assets (stored with your render jobs so we can produce your files); and standard technical logs (IP address, for rate limiting and abuse prevention).
For traffic analytics, we estimate your country from your IP address using a database on our server. We keep daily totals by country for page views, signups, and checkout starts for 90 days. These analytics do not store your IP address, identify individual visitors, or use tracking cookies. Requests with Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control enabled are excluded. Country estimates can be inaccurate, especially when a VPN is used.
We also use a local IP-to-country lookup to determine eligibility for complimentary generations. This eligibility check applies even when analytics are disabled. It does not send your IP address to a geolocation provider.
For new accounts, we also save the approximate signup country and referral information with the account: the first recorded source, first explicit creator code, latest referred visit, campaign tags, landing page path and referring website hostname. This helps us understand which creators bring signups and subscriptions. Country lookup happens locally; we do not save the IP address in these account analytics. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control requests are excluded from this additional collection. Historical account locations are not reconstructed. Referral information comes from the browser and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Advertising measurement
We use the Meta Pixel to measure advertising performance. It sends page-view and completed-registration events, plus purchase events with the amount paid and currency, to Meta, which may receive your IP address, browser information, page URL and advertising cookie identifiers. This helps us measure actions following our ads. We do not enable automatic advanced matching or send your email address, password or Studio content in these events. We disable this pixel when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled. See Meta's Privacy Policy for how Meta uses this information.
The Studio
The Studio writes a new asset from what you describe. To do that, the text you type and any image you attach are sent to Anthropic's API, which we use as a processor to generate the asset's code. This is the only place your Studio input leaves our servers, and it happens only when you start a generation or a refine, never for the assets in the catalog, and never in the background.
An image you attach is resized in memory, sent as part of that one request, and discarded. We never write it to disk and we keep no copy of it. What we do keep is the asset the Studio produced and the description you gave it, so they stay in your library and you can refine them later. If you would rather not send a screenshot at all, describing what you want in words works the same way.
Quality review
Our founder can review generated assets, the prompts used to make them, and the account email associated with them to check output quality and investigate problems. This access is restricted and does not make your assets public.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, run third-party ad trackers, or read your asset content for anything other than producing and rendering your files and checking the quality of generated results as described above. Payment card details never touch our servers; they go directly to Stripe, our payment processor.
Where it lives
Your account and your assets are hosted on Railway (US). Rendered files are automatically deleted after about 7 days. The one exception is a Studio generation, which is sent to Anthropic's API as described above.
Your choices
Email support@cutawaypro.com to export or delete your account and its data. We'll complete deletion requests within 30 days. Cookies: one session cookie to keep you signed in; nothing else.
If you arrive from a link that carries a source label, or from another site, your browser remembers the source and referral details, and it is saved with the account so we know which video or post sent you. It is stored on your device, never shared, and clearing your browser data removes it.
